Graduated from the Gorky Higher School of the Ministry of Interior of the USSR, post-graduate programme of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia (Administration Academy of the Ministry of Interior).
In 1994 defended a PhD dissertation in law, in 1999 was awarded an academic degree of an "associate professor".
An author of over 60 scientific and educational works. Scope of scientific interests: contractual regulation of proprietary relationships.

Has a 30-year teaching experience including 10 years at Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, inclusive of 16 years being in charge of civil law and procedure department at the Nizhny Novgorod Law Academy. Currently heads the department of civil procedural law at the Volga branch of the Russian State University of Justice.
Acts as an independent expert in a number of Ministries of the Nizhny Novgorod Government on the issues of assessment of civil servants, acts as a member of Higher Attestation Commission at the Nizhny Novgorod Governor, as a member of Public Council at the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of economy and competition policy.
Deals with research and analytical activity on creating the dispute strategy and tactics, expert examination of complex legal situations, represents client’s interests in courts with regard to various categories of disputes. Practical experience also involves structuring and supporting transactions with land plots and other real estate objects.
